What's Happening at the Center?

At the beginning of May, a client stepped into the Pregnancy Help Center worried about a pregnancy, and pressured by her boyfriend, considered abortion as her only option. She had already taken the Plan B pill (sometimes called the 'Morning After Pill') but it had not been successful.
After meeting with a counselor, she agreed to come in the next day for a sonogram and brought her boyfriend with her. She was tearful when they heard the baby's heart beat, he looked away from the screen.
The couple left and our calls to them went unanswered*
But a phone call a few weeks later had the staff and volunteers excited that we would be able to help another young mother. "I'm keeping the baby!" she said when she contacted the Center. "Thank you, ladies for your prayers. God is doing amazing things."
We can't wait to hear more about her change of heart and to help her during her pregnancy.

* We only contact clients after a visit if they give us permission to do so.
